Currently in Dunman High School's computer lab.
First,
A few weeks ago, Jingyu asked me what 3rd language i'm taking. I told him Tamil since i was a white indian and he somehow was taken in. (Hahhha...)
After the Math Diagnosic Test (also weeks back), Chester who was 2 seats away from me asked me if i was an American. I said no but he didnt believed. He kept insisting i was (or rather, am, 'cos he still thinks so) an American.
Just now during Pastoral Care, Jingyu asked Bridget if i was a white indian and Brid burst into laughter, for i've not told her about that matter yet. So i told her about it. Then Jingyu looked at me and asked me where i was from. I asked him to ask Chester (who was infront of JY) and Chester immediately said America. Upon hearing that, JY knocked his head against his desk. I dont know why. He's just so weird. Bridget told him she was a white indian and JY also believed. He's so gullible! OMG.
After school, Bridget, Zhiyi, Yinghui and i, as planned, went to East Coast to do some project. We were supposed to go to Bougainvilla Garden (At East Coast carpark F2) to search for this Neptune sundial and to copy some notes down. We took MRT all the way to Payar Lebar and went we were reaching, we decided that Zhiyi should go with her primary schoolmates to visit their teachers since they were going and were on the same train. So there were only the 3 of us left. We later took a bus to Marine Parade and after that, we were lost. Totally. We had no idea which bus to take. We alighted at bus stop A (e.g) and later we asked an aunty for the directions. She said we had to go bus stop B which is opposite A. So we crossed the overhead bridge with our heavy bags. When we got there, we found out that there were no bus to East Coast at B. We walked back to A and this time we walked to somewhere we dont know. Somewhere where there were lots and lots of flats. Obviously it wasnt right so we went back to A. But we still had no idea which bus to take so this time, we were smart. Brid and i left our bags with Yinghui at A and once again, crossed to B as the POLICE STATION was there. Yeah, our last resort - the police. We got in and i was so nervous. When we were making our way to the office, a policeman noted us and came to us. I think he thought we were trying to be funny. But anyway we asked him for help and he said something like, "Oh, you have to walk to that bus stop." Thanked him and went back to A again. It was so tiring and to top things worst, i didnt have my lunch and was so hungry then. Yeah so we took our bags and went back to B where we walked to somewhere to wait for a cab. No, no more walkings. Got onto a cab and shortly, WE'VE REACHED EAST COAST! I swear, this travelling thing really got onto my nerves!
The 3 of us were already very tired then and didnt wanna carry our bags while walking. So Yinghui waited at the pavilion with our bags and Brid and i went to look for that sundial. We were at the C Zone then. The sundial is at F zone. We thought wouldnt be that far so we walked. However, after walking for about 15mins, WE WERE STILL AT C ZONE! Damn it! So i rang up my dad and fortunately, he came to our rescue. He said he would drive to the Mcdonalds to pick us up and from there, move on to F Zone. Therefore, Brid and i walked ALL THE WAY BACK to the pavilion to collect our bags and together, we went to Mac. Phew! My dad came and in just a while, we reached F Zone. I'm so grateful to my dad, man!
At the Bougainvilla Garden, we saw a few DHS pupils. They were there to do the same proj. We enthusiastically said hi to them and they told us where the sundial was. Seriously, in DHS, i really feel like i belong and that it's like we're one big family. Everyone's so nice. :)
Okay, we found the sundial and copied those stuffs. Took quite a while and after that, HOME SWEET HOME. YAYS.
It's 11.30pm. I'm turning in.
(Initially, i was supposed to go shopping with my sisters but i ended up at home 'cos i have piles of homework to be completed by next week. SIGH!)
I dont have time to type out what happened during our stay-over so i shall copy and paste from my sister Shilee's blog. Here it goes...
(19th Jan)
Cindy Jie Jie, Claire, Weilee, Timmy, Aunty Daphne and I went to Tampines Mall's Pastamania for dinner! (:Weilee's teacher, Mr Kelvin, saw us at the aquarium shop, so he came over to say hi. I thought he was Kenny(He looked like him from some angles.), so I was like, "HUH?!" I was a little shocked for I-don't-know-what reason(s). Lol. And he got frightened. -.- He didn't even know me can! So paiseh. -.-After dinner, we went to Mariam Way for some bazaar thinggy. It was hell not fun. I thought it would be loh. :/ And I burst Claire's balloon. She pretended to cry, and made life difficult for everyone. She kept saying, "I want my balloon.. I want just now that one..". Lol! And Timmy was like, "I'll use magic to 'make back' just now that one okay? But must wait until tomorrow."Uncle Albert came to fetch us(Except Aunty Daph.) home. :D Claire lagged. -.- She threw her Mickey soft toy and Weilee caught it, but she only reacted 10 minutes after that. LOL! Cindy Jie Jie wasn't feeling well, so Uncle Albert fetched them home around 9.45pm. Aunty Daphne came home around 11pm, and she said business was good. Hahhs.
(20th Jan)
Washed up and went to the kitchen for a drink. Weilee woke up afterwards. (: We had nothing to do because Aunty Daph and Timmy were still soundly asleep.I stood outside to check whether Uncle Albert was in the room or not. Apparently not. So we went in to kajiao her. Hahahas! :P Aunty Daphne told Santi to prepare breakfast, consisting of eggs, ham, bread, fruits and some drinks. Weilee didn't wanna take the chili bread, so she took a "not-chili" bread. But it turned out to be a*My nose is itchy. -.-* curry bread! HAHAHAS! Timmy told us that in the past, pepper had a 1-to-1 exchange rate with gold. Aunty Daph didn't believe, as usual. So Timmy went to email his History teacher and got the reply immediately. Hahhs! It's true that pepper was sooo valuable ok.I showed Weilee and Timmy the video of Mr Koh CL singing the mongster song. -.- They love him very much, lol! After breakfast, we went to Bedok Reservoir to exercise for half an hour. LOL! *Timmy is beside me, staring into space.* Someone took Timmy's bicycle, either by mistake or intentionally. Lol! Aunty Daph saw the guy ride his bike away, but she didn't realise it was Tim's bike. Hahhs! :PWent home to change afterwards. I wanted to bathe, but everyone objected LOH. They so bad one LOH. Make people life difficult one LOH. Don't even let me bathe every half an hour LOH. So mean LOH.Ok, I'll stop loh-ing around. I was craving for Teppanyaki, so Aunty Daphne brought us to Century Square for Sakae's. (: It was nice LOH. Better than Tampines Square's. :D Bought bubble tea. (:Wanted to go to Isetan to shop, but Aunty Daphne forgot to bring her vouchers along. :/ So NTUC was our next destination. Weilee and I started laughing for no reason, and we couldn't even stop. -.-Timmy came up with this "Breathing Control" thing.. "Hu1 xi1, fang4 pi4.." It means, breathe in, fart. Hahhs! :P Went home after our grocery-shopping. (:
Basically, it's like this.
School's fun but homework arent. I'm so pissed off by those unclear instructions given by our beloved teacher Mrs Kang. GRRR...
And Chester still insists i'm from USA. I told him NO but he still thinks i am. Oh well! Chester, pls read this. I AM A SINGAPOREAN. =D
Off to do my homework. We are supposed to translate different dates to different calendars which includes the Chinese Calendar, The Christian, The Indian, The Islamic and lastly, Jewish. It's so tough!
Among the 4 of us, Bridget went in first. She forgot the steps, i think. So did Zhiyi. Daryl, being the best dancer, danced so well and i'm so fascinated. For me, i actually forgotten the beats during the last part. The first part was okay. (I'm born with no talents at all. Sadly.)
After dance, we went for Band which kept us waiting and waiting. When we got in, the teacher-in-charge spoke to us (all together) instead of audition-ing. Hell! We waited for so long and she asked us to try another time 'cos time was running short. Nevermind. She's not to be blamed.
Oh yeah, after our dance and while making our way to the Band room, something happened in the Art Room. There was smoke. Heavy smoke. And heavy smell which kept everyone's (in the surrounding) hands covering the noses. EXPLOSION? NUCLEAR BOMBS? ATOMIC BOMBS? Hahaha! Arthur and Jonathan like these 3 words a lot. Oh and not forgetting our class' Empty Vessel - Seng Joe.
Lols.
All right all right, i'm going off now as i still have to memorize those Orchestra Instruments stuffs for my Music Theory. Sigh! Why am i born with such poor memory?!?!?
Oh and we had Revolution in class today. We had change of Chairperson. Instead of the initially Eugene, Arthur is now the Chairperson. Quite sad for Eugene though honestly speaking, Arthur will make a better Chairperson. Bridget is not the Vice-chair now. Sigh...she and Stephenie are now the NE Rep. Fanghua is the Secretory, i'm still the Treasurer. Zhiyi and SENGJOE are the Chinese Reps, Bryan and Jonathan are Geog Reps, YIXUAN as PE Rep, oh and Daryl as the new vice chair.
Oh and lastly, i broke my own record! During PE just now, we ran 1.2km and my timing was 7mins28seconds! For my NAFA last year, i took about 9minutes. COOL! And Ms Lee was trying to kill us. Straight after the run, we were to do sit-up! TERRIBLE! I only did 20 sit-ups (in a min) due to over-exhaustion. Whatever. I'm being lame.
Hmmm and i gotta go now. Wont be able to blog so often. I've got so much homework to do! Especially Japanese and Piano Theory....gotta memorize hell lots of stuffs! GGRRRRRRR.
Uncle Calvin (my dad's colleague who comes to our house to help whenever our house's computer is faulty.) came to our house earlier on to do some computer stuffs. He parked his car in front of our main gate (which goes outwards whenever we open it.) while he fixed the computer. When everything's done, Uncle Calvin went to get his car and my dad sent him off. Euyang tried to be funny by closing the main door and opening the main gate. He didnt know the car was there. Upon seeing the main gate moving outwards and almost hitting the car, both my dad and Uncle Calvin pushed the gate backwards frantically. Isnt that funny?!
Well you may not find it funny 'cos you dont know any of them but i found it so funny that i laughed so hard! Oh i know i have such a lousy sense of humour!
Complicated stuffs are happening now. How different it was back then in my primary school! I hope everything is gonna be all right.
People, pls ignore Bridget's post on my blog. She thinks i like this person in school but i dont like him. Not at all. I know who Bridget likes. Anyone interested to know? Hahhahahahhaha!
I still love Dior. I still have her in my heart. As time goes by, i realise i love her even more. She means so much to me...

At around 1am (11/01), Mel woke me up and told me Dior was dead. I hurried down to see and there she lay in her cage...not moving. She died of old age. In my mind i was scolding, saying swear words, hoping that everything wasnt what that happened. Actually before she died i had already somehow expected that this would happen very soon because she hadnt been eating much, and hadnt been running much on her wheel. That's very unlike her...and that's when i panicked when i found out she wasnt doing those. Moreover, she had been with us since Feb 2006. It's Jan 2008 now..
I cried. Although you may think Dior's only a hamster, but to me she's so much! I remember those months before PSLE when i was a total mugger, i often go to Dior and Burberry when i'm very stressed up. Seeing them both could really calm me down. Now we're only left with one. When i go to Burberry, i'll be reminded of Dior. I know i'll definitely get over this one day but how about this few days when i still cant?
Anyway we decide to bury her. We put her in a box where Mel put in some bedding, food and 3 treats for her. Seeing her carcass is akin to piercing a knife into my heart.
This, i'm very sure, is an end of a life, not a relationship.
Dior is always living in my heart.
Yeah, have been rather busy these days, though it's only the beginning of the year. And i also have piano theory homework! Zhiliang wants me to memorize lots and lots of things as homework while he is re-servicing. Gosh!
Hello Brid, i know you're reading this now. Hhahaa.. Yeah man, you're my good goood goooood friend all right? Dont be *** ***!
Oh and people, i've changed my MSN address so if you want it, just ask from me. ;)
Oh oh oh and i'm the class's treasurer. It's all because of Bridget. She is the Vice-chairperson and she wants me to be part of the class committee too. Well, it's not a bad thing anyway. I'm doing my part as a 1 BELLANCA student.
I'd better stop here now. Posts are getting shorter and shorter due to the homework load. Here are the homework that i've not done -
1) 1 more question of Geog,
2) Decorating of Geog file,
3) Memorizing of Music Theory stuffs,
4) Language Arts - Journal,
5) Read about the Ancient numbers.
There you go! My homework list! Lots more to go as the days go by!
Whatever. I love 1BELLANCA because it rocks!
Still gonna update some stuffs in my blog but it'll not do it now 'cos i wanna sleep. =D
Oh and we're going to have sports trail tomorrow. Woohoo~
Brid and i (and maybe Zhiyi) are choosing EDS as first choice. For me, Symphonic Band may be second.
Oh yeah.
So currently, my tagboard and links arent here yet. Yeah. Will change soon.
I reached there at around 2.50pm and by then, BRIDGET was already there. So we went to class (where a few girls were already there) and we started making our mascot. And later when the attendance was full, the SF requested for cheers (which we were very good at during Day 2) in our class. However, we sounded so weak, so different from yesterday! At that time, Brid and i guessed that our class would not win eventually. We had to perform those cheers on stage and would be given points, you see. And yesterday we were leading at the Olympics Games. Our final score would be determined by those cheers. And seeing 1B so weak just now, i wasnt confident of winning. Anyway, we were taught a few more cheers, and one of them was created by my lovely beloved cute fun and humourous friend, BRIDGET! Yeah man!
At 5.10am (i remember the exact time!), we left to the canteen to have our early dinner. Before our dinner, however, we had games, as usual. It was guessing the songs they played over the sound system. Our class guessed only one right, out of so many. That's why, once again, Brid and i were saying how we would lose...so embarrassing-ly. After the games, we had our dinner. The food werent good. And the portion was so big! Almost double of what i usually eat. So secretly (well, as in without telling the SFs), i didnt finish up my food. WOohoo~
(If i'm not wrong,) We proceeded to the hall after dinner for our CONCERT! Yeah. By then, Si Qi (our class' mascot) was already dressed. The concert was so fun! Mr Sng (Principal) declared the concert open and after that each class went on stage to perform an item. 1A went first. They were loud (as compared to us when we got to school this afternoon) and so we were somehow motivated, and spurred. We got on the stage next. Brid and i were asking to pop the party poppers. Our first cheer was the cheer the guys love. And it goes...
SF: 1B OIII!
US: OIIII!
SF: 1B OIIII!
US: OIII!
SF: IB IB
US: SUP SUP OIIII!
Next was the Ke ma ma cheer. And followed by the cheer Brid created and that is,
BRAINY (*CLAPCLAP*), BRILLIANT (*CLAPCLAP*), BEST(*CLAPCLAP),
We'll win,
We'll fight,
We'll do almost everything!
1B the victors!
1B the winners!
GOOOOOO..... 1B!
And next was one of our (Brid's and me) favourites. The banana cheers! It goes..
BANANAS IN THE WORLD UNITED!
PEEL, BANANA, PEEL, PEEL, BANANA...
CHOP, BANANA, CHOP, CHOP, BANANA...
SQUEEZE, BANANA, SQUEEZE, SQUEEZE, BANANA...
MASH, BANANA, MASH, MASH BANANA,
FRY, BANANA, FRY, FRY, BANANA,
EAT, BANANA, EAT, EAT, BANANA!
Of course it includes actions which were kinda funny.
Our item ended with this cheer:
123, 321, 1B 1B number 1!
456, 654, 1B NEVER LOST BEFORE!
We were damn loud that time...hoping to win. Woootss! I love my spontaneous classmates!
So we watched the other classes and a skit which was performed by the SFs. A very funny skit. Terrence (one of our class' SFs) performed too. Hhaha...
We also danced the chicken dance together as a school, the hokey pokey dance, and a few others. Brid and i both loved a particular cheer which had to be done with the actions for it to be interesting and fun. Anyway the song for that dance was something like : Chi ku cha chi ku cha chi ku cha cha cha! Sounds cute.
Before everything ended, we had a sing-along session. We held hands with the SFs and sang the song " PENG YOU " and our level song, "AT THE BEGINNING". Jia Teck (one of our SFs) sang along too. And trust me, his singing was so terrible! Though, we were like, ENCORE, ENCORE!, after he sang. Anyway, got so high at that time! We jumped and swayed and everyone were so enjoying! It feels so good to be a part of the DHS family!
After that we went back to our classes to get our bags. On the way, Brid and i were singing the Chi ku cha song, and Zhiyi was so irritated! Hahaha. Zhiyi, we cant be helped but to be cute! Hahhaha...
My conclusion is that DHS rocks! Yes it does. Never regretted choosing Dunman High School as my first choice!
Together we will run the race!
After the concert.
Anyway, we had our Olympics (Our theme for this year) Games today and i believe we had lots of fun. Well, at least i did. (:
Today's totally different from yesterday. Yesterday, we still werent quite familiar with each other, we were still very quiet and shy. Today, on the contrary, we (our class especially) became extremely enthusiastic and cheered a lot during the game. Even the guys, yeah. Spontaneous! ;) Okay and i've become closer to the 4 other girls - BRIDGET, ZHI YI, SI QI, and YING HUI. Friends! Yay!
We played quite a number of different games and the most memorable one was the game akin to soccer. In our team, Bridget, Yinghui and i were the goalkeepers. We competed with 1A and their guys were so rough and one of them kicked the ball and it hit my stomach. Seriously. Everyone on the field were like, OMG! My team mates especially Brid kept asking if i was okay. Surprisingly, it didnt hurt very much and after a min or so, i was perfectly fine again. Yayness! I'm strong. Woootts! (WHATEVER) Jonathan (my classmate) said they'd ram the ball since the 1A guys did so. His tone and everything when he said that was funny. Lols.
Another one that i liked was a game similar to volleyball but this time, we replaced the balls to waterbombs. I was lucky at first, i didnt get wet. However, when the game ended, one of the FCs used the water gun to spray around and i was one of their victims. Lalala..
The other games were so-so but what made us proud was that we won every game. Pro, arent we? We were proud of ourselves too. Hahha..
After school, Brid, Si Qi and i went to the MRT station together. As we walked there, we started exchange ghost stories. Those in our primary schools. Judging by what they told me, i assume SGSS is the most haunted among the 3 primary schools. LOLs. I still love SGS, anyway.
Brid and i took the same route which is different from Si Qi so later we went on our separate ways. On the MRT cabin, Brid and i were talking so much that the shortest time we stopped talking was like a min. Yeah. We talked a lot. From our Class cheer...to personal stuffs like bras. Hahhahhaa.
I'm so loving DHS, my class, my 4 friends, my level song (At the Beginning) and the canteen food! DUNMAN HIGH! ;D
Oh and i'm gonna have my orientation dinner tomorrow at school. I'm looking forward to the dinner!
On the bus, ZY and i were taking stuffs about ZPS and yeah, she told me some CODES OF CONDUCT (Rules & Regulations). Hahaha. She's sucha great person man! (ZY, READ THIS!)
She brought me to my class and when i was there, many other people had already arrived and all the back seats were taken so i had to sit at the front seat. Huiying later came to sit with me and we started making friends. And my form teacher is Mrs Kang who is also my history teacher.
We had our recess at around 10am and i joined Huiying and her primary school friend Samantha. They were talking about their primary school stuffs and i was so bored and felt so alone!
After recess, i cant remember what we did but anyway, i met 4 other good friends. Yeah. First i met Si Qi whom i sat with during lunch break. Then later Bridget and Ying Hui joined us and we started interacting and became friends. Afterwards Zhi Yi came and we started chatting as though we were friends before. Uh-huh. And we sticked together since then.
Among all the activities, one of them which i will kinda not forget is that guessing game and that is, in each box, there would be an object and we gotta put our hands in to feel what's inside and guess it. Zhi Yi, Bridget and Si Qi went to touch and the first box was jelly. The second was EGG WHITE/YOLK (Zhi Yi loves eggs and she THOUGHT OF [and she didnt] sucking her finger to taste the egg white. Hahahaa. The third box was soft toy and guess what's the last one. PIG'S HEART. Zhi Yi and Bridget touched it and after the SC told us it was an animal's organ, they felt so disgusted! I was so relieved i didnt touch! Yeah and after that some guy guessed it right and the 2 girls were like...EEEEEEEEE! Hahhhahaa. I saw the heart, anyway. The muscle... URGH!
During the last hour (or so), we were back to class to make our class flag and design our class mascot. Time was tight and we were so behind time, hence had to rush and hurry. (Seriously, i find the SC too draggy and delaying our time every now and then.) Yeah whatever. Bridget felt so too.
Before i end (i wanna READ), i just wanna add on a li'l more. Our school canteen has SAKE CAMPUS. Cooool! I'll have sushi during recess tmr.
LOVING SCHOOL MORE AND MORE! WOOHOO~
The CRAZY DUO were not sleeping (yet) while the both of us were chatting so they, as usual, had a screw loose and decided to irritate us. What they did was quietly open our room's door and ran away quickly yet quietly, thinking that we would think it's some supernatural. We werent that stupid, obviously. Not only did they do that, they also took the air-con controller and lifted our room's air-con's flap up and down from the outside of our room. Damn it. Hahhaha. Cousin-ly fun!
We woke up damn early today. I guess around 8am? Yeah. When we've gotten ready, we set off to Tampines Mall for Cafe Cartel breakfast. A very heavy one! Later, Claire (my niece) and her mum and dad (my cousins) came to join us but when they arrived, we'd long finished up our food. Yeah whatever. Tim got so bored that he sprinkled salt and pepper into his drink. I was dared to drink it and i did. Tasted like hell. After that, we added salted butter and honey into the drink as well. It turned out disgusting. The photos are in my phone and will upload some other time. So keep coming back to this post! ;)
After walking about the Mall for some time, we went back to Aunty Daph's house to play Pictionary. Aunty Daph and i were in a team while Cindy Jiejie, Perry and Shilee teamed up. Their team was leading in the first round but we caught up eventually. We had so much fun!...and i realise i'm such a failure in drawing. LOLS!
Hmmmm... school's resuming tomorrow. I'm exceptionally excited this time 'cos i'd be going to a new school. DUNMAN HIGH SCHOOL!! Woootts! Though, i feel a li'l nervous. Well, it's a new environment i'd be studying in so naturally i'll feel nervous. Okay and i loathe my uniform! It's white blouse with BIG, SILVER BUTTONS, and navy blue skirt. I'll snap some photos and SHOW IT OFF to you people.
OH well! I'm asked to sleep early tonight so yeah, shall end my post here.
(6G pupils, may you guys excel in whichever school you're posted to! Those hard times we suffered have paid off! People once despised us but that's because they're idiots. 6G pupils will survive it out there! Let's not forget those good times we had altogether, as a class. All the very best! Keep in touch!)
