Today's the IA X'mas party which was held at Shawn's place. At first it was only Xintian, Egan, Fabian, Marcus, Shawn and his sister. Being my first time meeting them (i missed the SC camp and orientation dry-run because i wasnt in S'pore), i obviously felt awkward, hence i merely spoke a word. It was quite boring for me then, but they were pretty welcoming towards me. :DPlayed monopoly with them before we started cooking. Egan helped me cheat, silently. Haha! I landed thrice on Marcus' (who later pathetically only had $1 left) properties but i kept quiet. No one else noticed except Egan. So he helped me keep mum too. And i once supposedly landed on Marcus' railway station, but Egan helpfully pushed my car to the next property which belonged to Fabian and was far cheaper than Marcus'. Haha! Thanks, Egan. Slowly, more people came. A lot of people seemed to know my name very clearly, probably because i was the only IA who didnt turn up for both the important events. Omg im feeling so guilty. Anyway, Florence and Regina finally came at around 7pm. It was sort of the first time i really chatted with them. They're really friendly people. Oh and Florence couldnt stop eating. Met many nice SCs who were really nice to us. We played Blow Wind Blow, Murderer and that passing of bottle game. The aims of these games were to finish up all the food. Haha crap. So there were games, gift exchange, smearing of cake, Regina spilling drinks, Yixiang's rabbit, photographs and meeting of new friends. Not bad. :D:D Took a train back with Cassandra Ng, another SC whom i just got to now. She's really nice to talk to, in the sense that we could keep our conversation flowing. So that's about it. Meeting with Puiying tomorrow for lunch. ;)

Went to Singapore Polo Club with Aunty Renee, Sasha, Elizabeth and her mom yesterday. Sasha and Elizabeth had an assessment, to see if they can move on to polo. I always thought polo was cool. Anyway, both of them passed, though apparently Sasha was better than Elizabeth. Oh and we saw a few kittens there, prolly about a month old or so. Reall cute babies, but i prefer dogs. I always do.
Caught the movie TWILIGHT with Sasha, Amanda and Louis at Vivo. The movie was pretty good, though many people commented that it was lousy. Sasha & i liked it, though she got disgusted by the intimate scenes.
Spent the night at Sasha's house. We went to bed at about 12+am but we talked for a while, about everything like, her hamsters and tortoises, her american family, high school, Twilight, SAS etc. We said goodnights a few times but continued talking afterwards. Oh and i dreamt of Mrs Burnett a few nights ago. Really weird.

There goes the 8 days.
I'm finally back from Beijing.
It's really amazing how time flies. 8 days ago, we were dreading Beijing, we were not at all excited about the trip nor the tourmates. We didnt think the tourmates will be fun. Not even a bit. We complaint and thought it would be much better to stay in S'pore.
However, throughout the whole journey, I actually kinda enjoyed myself, even in the bitter winter. I dont know about the rest, but i thought the trip was rather cool. We made friends with Wendell and Matilda, Adelene and Junwei and we all played card games together at night in the hotel room. Murderer and Heart Attack were hot-favourites. And all the screamings and laughings that were audible even in Mrs Tay's sons' rooms.
And then there's Aunty and Uncle Terrorist, a very cute elderly couple whose laughter i really love. They're just so fun and really caring. Nelly and Xiao Liu, our tour guides, were awesome as well. Not forgetting Mr Slide who loves sliding on the floor and shouting 'HOWDY!' to his family. Qingqing and laoda too, who always offer us snacks and all. 'Xiaohua' who really looks like Xiaohua. And all the BFFs.
Despite the cold biting into my bone and freezing my toes and fingers, the not-very-good food, the loud people, the spits and the stuffy hotel, i thought the trip wasnt that bad afterall. The company matters the most to me i think.
Just now as i stepped into my room, a very tensed feeling struck me. I realised that during the 8 days, i really let my hair down and played all i could. I havent done anything productive. When i came into my room, i remembered that i have lots to do, lots to catch up with. I have no idea why i'm really so idiotically stressed up. I hope i can relax a li'l, but i just cant seem to do that. I really hope that my vacation can be extended, not that i love Beijing so much, but because back here in S'pore, i feel the stress all over again. I know that school is starting. All my homework and projects and presentations are gonna be an all-over-again story. I feel like shit now. I'm dreading school and the stress i'm gonna receive once again.
Chill.
I hope Christmas party is gonna be fun later on. I miss everyone in my family.

Whee i'm in the hotel now.
Beijing, so far, has been kinda great. The company's fun, instead of boring and scheizer as i first thought of. Beijing has nice scenery too and i swear Great Wall of China was certainly great. Climbed it yesterday and scheizer it was steep. Nevertheless, it was really awesome and if not for the time constraint i bet my dad, Euyang and i would have climbed even further up.
Okay, going off now because we've arranged with Wendall to play cards. I'm a card idiot so i'll probably only sit and watch.
OH YEAH, we saw a really adorable puppy just now. It was a really small one and for a moment i thought it was a fake, so i asked the owner if it was a dog. Haha i carried him as thought he was mine. Argh, i hope! I want a dog! I dont mind one as small as Mocha or one as big as Simba! Dog craze!

NI HAO from Beijing!
(Currently using the computer in the hotel room.)
Scheizer, Beijing is freaking cold i swear. It's been a bad start of the trip but well, hope it goes well for the other days. I'm not really used to the place here. I think i kinda love Singapore now.
Went to Happy Valley this afternoon. For those who dont know, Happy Valley is a theme park but today when we went there, the theme park was scarily quiet and i guess the number of people in the theme park hadnt reached a hundred. Quite pathetic because we couldnt ride on many rides due to the darned weather. Scheizer, the roller coaster looked so thrilling. Did not enjoy myself at all there.
Despite the not-so-nice lunch, dinner was great. Had Peking duck and all. Euyang was having a great time of his life then. Haha!
I'm really looking foward to Christmas Eve when i'll FINALLY be back to Singapore and we'll go for xmas party afterwards.
Till then, i hope the tour is gonna be fun and the tourmates will be friendly. With the exception of TKM, though.

Was browsing through the Miss World's gallery just now. OMG Miss World'08- Miss Russia- is really gorgeous. Miss Brazil too. Aw I think Alex as in Kimberly's boyfriend must be very happy that Miss Russia becomes Miss World '08.
Anyway I found out that Danielle Steel earned about $30 million after her 71st novel was published. Oh man she's seriously my idol. Her books are awesome. I'm planning to read every book of hers found in the library. I went to her website just now and wrote her a comment. Haha.
Thinking back, when I was young, my favourite authors were Roald Dahl and Jacqueline Wilson. I loved The Witches by Roald Dahl, really much. And Bad Girls by Jacqueline Wilson. Now, to me, nothing beats Danielle Steel's books.
Anyway I'm gonna admire my Europe photos. Let me post a few first.
Damn it i swear Europe'05 was the best trip i've ever been to. With the nicest company of friends and the nicest scenery and the nicest people and the nicest tour guide. URGH I MISS EUROPE. Scheizer!
Cant believe i'm going to Beijing tonight. Shilee keeps saying that she's not at all excited. Haha!

Bridget invited me to Dorothea's xmas party. Desirae was supposed to come along with me because Bridget asked me to invite someone else. Unfortunately, Desirae called me this afternoon to tell me that she was ill. I'm really sorry to hear that Desirae. Have lotsa rest and recuperate well so as to recover before your HK trip next week yeah. ;)
Bought Dorothea a box of Lindor Truffles (my love!) before i went. She wore a Mango Barcelona top and i so happen to be wearing a Mango Barcelona tanktop yesterday when i went out with Desirae and Sabrina. Should have worn it today, haha.
Anyway, i got to know a few people better today. Like, Jay for an example. Bridget has told me about her cell mates before, including Jay, and it's only till today that i really get to see him and boy, he's really a nice guy. He's merely Year 2 yet he was such a gentleman just now. People like Euyang should learn from him. And then there's Dorothea, Grace and Phoebe. They're really nice people.
We played this game called Psychiako or something? Yeah it is a combination of WACKO and some sort of guessing game. It was really great, especially the royalty one, when Jay was really a good actor, demanding Hafiz (or however you spell) to sit and stand and all.
Later Matthew and Sebastian joined us. When both of them walked in, i whispered to Bridget to ask her who Matthew was. She was like, "The taller one, the taller one!" Haha he really looks like Timothy and Kim, yeah Bridget? When they came, the group became kinda livelier, probably because they're seemingly jokers, doing all sorts of stupid things. Like, Sebastian hugging the air, trying to imitate a koala, or Matthew corrected the way i swayed my fringe.
It's like, finally i've seen Matthew myself. He's just like how Bridget has described him constantly, (and Doro, Phoebe, Grace and i have something in mind, some pretty interesting stuffs to share with our respective classes, aw man, Bridget) AND HE SURE LOOKS LIKE TIMOTHY AND KIM ALL RIGHT. More of the eyes actually.
Oh, oh! And Doro's 9-years-old brother Dylan. He's very cute when he asked his dad about "Chen Shui Bian". Hah! There's also Darren from VS. Hmm pretty funny guy who didnt eat much during dinner and his excuse was because he had already eaten breakfast. Lol!
Overall, today's really great. Got to know a few people better, like Phoebe and Doro. Thanks Dorothea, Grace and Bridget for organizing this and thank you Bridget for your invitation. <3
And thank you Bridget's parents for sending me to Sengkang because i'd really hate to take train from Pasir Ris all the way back to Serangoon. And it's really nice to have seen BEAL again. He was very shy though. I'd prefer the Beal who told me about Charlotte, who screamed at me over the phone because he thought i was Bridget, who said he'd prefer me as a sister and the Beal who loves Mr Bean and insisted that he was Mr Bean over the phone. Haha! What a cute li'l boy.
I wanna read Twilight now. I'm rereading it because the first time i read it, i wasnt really paying attention because it was during my piano exam period. So i merely scanned through the book, paying no attention at all to the last half of the book. It's very easy-reading so i can probably finish by tomorrow. I wanna read Danielle Steel!

Was browsing through the old photos last night on the computer. Found lotsa funny pictures, those taken during the times when we still hadnt had fringe, when our socks were still high, when we patronized the zoo so very often, when we played in my dad's office and climbed almost everything that was climb-able, when homework wasnt an issue.

Haha! Classics, huh? I was browsing through them and caught many playful pictures like Euyang acting gay, Shilee and i looking so KM, us trying to kiss Euyang and all. I also found a couple of videos, like those taken in Fullerton Hotel where we went for the Chocolate Buffect and the unforgettable one of Euyang dancing outside the toilet. Sigh, i miss our almost-weekly Zoo or Night Safari or Changi Airport or Dad's office. See, life was so carefree last time. Unlike now when competitions are all over in school, and revisions everyday are a must. What crap?!
I've also found pictures taken in Szechuan'04. It was a school trip and i went with my mom, Shilee, Euyang, Yupei, Jiaxun, Mdm Cheng and Ms Ng. We later got to know Mdm Cheng's children Darien and Bernice. Here they are:
