He used to be such a nice man. He found out i kinda had an interest for photography and therefore brought the different camera lens and camera body that he had during family gatherings to let me experiment them. He taught me some different features of the lens, how i could adjust them and so on.
At the beginning of this year when he knew that i was gonna take up Japanese as my third language, he started teaching me some basics.
Last year when i used to go over for Science tuition, he would always help us with certain experiments, and patiently explain to us.
It broke my heart to see him lying on the ICU bed. He looked so frail, so pale, so tired. It moved me to see how Kate talked to him, and encouraged him. I saw her mouthed the words, "加油,爸!" as she saw his heartbeat decreasing. It moved me to see how his family kept talking to him, not letting him go.
Now he's gone. I hope his family can stay strong, and adapt to life without him. Rest in peace.
